Review

Wow! What an wonderful, thoughtful book. It has inspired me to do a similar creation solely for my granddaughter so she can know what a wonderful person her mother was.

Melina has a life-threatening heart condition and is pregnant. The doctor has told her to continue the pregnancy will probably kill her. Melina chooses to give the baby life. She knows her unborn daughter and will never give up the hope of having her. Being realistic, she also knows she may never know the sweet girl she is carrying. Therefore she writes a journal to her. Family recipes are interspersed with facts of life. She makes sure her love will be known by her daughter.

Great read, tears flow freely in many places. Wonderful family dynamics! Well written, thank you for this touching book.
